We make chairs. That’s what we do. Handmade from 80% recycled Aluminum. It’s not easy. In fact it takes 77 steps to get there. Designed to last for 150 years. Now that’s what we call sustainability. Of the recycled aluminum, half is post consumer (soft drink cans) and half is postindustrial (manufacturing scrap). Chairs made out of virgin aluminum have an energy density that is 17 times higher than that of Emeco chairs. Emeco all-aluminum chairs are 100% recyclable.

The Emeco factory in Hanover PA conforms to all applicable US, State and Local environmental regulations. It is important to note the recycled content, and recyclability of Emeco chairs. But in addition, and perhaps even of greater significance, is the aspect of lifetime costing.
